Studies have shown that people with disability in developing countries like Malawi have faced a lot of discrimination in the society they reside; they are excluded from the major activities of the society including sports. This study aimed at investigating how Theatre for Development can be used as an engagement tool for para-sports and disability in rural Malawi specifically in Chiladzulu, Lilongwe and Mzimba districts. The study used Theatre for Development to engage the communities. The study also focused on analysing rural people’s attitudes towards people with disability.
